Shanghai Utsukushigaoka Montessori Kindergarten assists in the growth of children by the educational idea of Montessori

  The Chinese New Year is coming. We made a lot of decorations to celebrate this holiday. We cut some colorful origami paper. The teachers also wore some traditional costumes to welcome students by the gate. We will say "Gongxi", "Happy Chinese new year"

  On February 2nd, we had Mamemaki. This is the tradition in Japan every spring. The celebration of this Mamemaki is the same as New year's Eve. We threw the beans to the monsters to get rid of all the bad luck, so we can have a great, happy, safe New year!   

  This year, Valentine's is during the Chinese New Year holiday, but this year we celebrated early by exchanging gifts. All the teachers and students prepared lovely cards and gifts with candies and chocolates. 

  February 26th is our birthday party. This month we have 3 students celebrating their birthdays. Happy birthday to all of them!
