Shanghai Utsukushigaoka Montessori Kindergarten assists in the growth of children by the educational idea of Montessori

After all the hard work and preparation of our teachers, we made it through the inspection and received permission to open the school. On June 4th, we had our first day back to school. After four months of time away from school, we all cherished the moment that we were all together. 

The first lesson we learned was about how to maintain social distancing, the correct way to put on a mask, and the way to wash hands with 7 steps. All the students missed their teachers and classmates very much. We also missed the school field and the school lunch: the delicious pork cutlet, hamburger, and spring roll, etc. The students were whispering to teachers "The school lunch is better than my mom's." 

On July 2nd, we finally had our graduation ceremony. This year we had 16 graduates. All the graduates had a very special spring term. During this spring, they learned to be strong, to endure, and to keep up with the confidence. Dear kids, after all this, I'm sure the spring of this year is warmer and brighter than ever before! Hope that you can remain very positive and happy to welcome your first grade school life. Congratulations: always happy and innocent as a kid!
